Focus: Plant protein and ingredient technologies, protein extraction and fractionation, MF/UF-based concentration, defatting, pilot-scale spray drying, techno-functional characterization, formulation, process optimization, and scale-up.
Plant protein ingredient and process development
- Work on plant protein processing workflows from raw material preparation and defatting to extraction, concentration, drying, and functionality-driven product application.
- Handle MF/UF-based protein concentration and pilot-scale spray drying activities to support ingredient development and scalable process design.
- Evaluate techno-functional properties of protein ingredients and formulations to guide product development, process optimization, and application performance.
Scale-up, functional foods, and smart quality analytics
- Translate lab-scale concepts into process-oriented product and technology solutions for alternative proteins, protein ingredients, and functional foods.
- Apply AI/ML, image processing, and non-destructive quality evaluation concepts for rapid quality assessment, process monitoring, and optimization opportunities.
